Jesus Tells his Friends What to Do
Matthew 28:16-20
The eleven special friends of Jesus, the disciples, went to the mountain in Galilee where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him they knew he was God. Some of them were afraid, so Jesus came to them and told them:
'My Father, God, has put me in charge of everything, so go and invite everyone to be my special friends. Tell them they can be my friends because this is what we want, my Father and me and the Spirit who is also God with us. Teach my new friends to live like I have taught you to live. I will always be with you as you do this, right until I come back at the end of the world.'
