Do you remember that Jesus used to teach people about God? He was very famous. People were amazed because he really knew what he was talking about. He really knew how to make you see that it was important too.

One day he was teaching in a church. A man controlled by a bad spirit said:

"Why are you here Jesus?
  Have you come to destroy bad spirits like me?
  I know who you are- you're God's Special King!"

Jesus told the bad spirit to be quiet and to let go of the man he was controlling. The bad spirit did what Jesus said. The man fell down but was not hurt.

The people were amazed because Jesus could even tell bad spirits what to do, and they did it.

Jesus left the church and went to his friend Simon's home. Simon was married, his wife's mother was very sick. So Simon and his wife asked Jesus to make her better. Jesus did what they asked. He made Simon's wife's mother better. She was so much better she got up and made dinner for them!

As the sun was going down that day, people were bringing all their sick friends to Jesus. Jesus only had to touch people and they got better. Bad spirits called out

"You are God's Special King!"

but Jesus made them be quiet and leave people alone.

Jesus healed people all night until the sun came up again. Then he went away on his own. The people kept looking for Jesus until they found him. They tried to get him to stay with them and make more people better but Jesus said:

"God sent me to teach people about him.
  I must teach people the good news about God and his Kingdom.
  I must teach them, not just here, but in other places too."

So Jesus went away and did what God wanted. He taught lots of people everywhere about God and his Kingdom.
